I used Dr. Joseph Reyes out of St. Elizabeth's on Cambridge St. for about 14 months, after I had been diagnosed with RSD. I had had it for a year or 2 by the time I saw him. His number is 617-789-3100. Dr. Reyes confirmed my diagnosis, did 8 Stellate Ganglion blocks, a lumbar block and 8 lidocaine infusions. Things changed a lot at St. E's while I was going there, Dr. Reyes no longer has a fellowship program and the residents that are assigned to the PM Dept aren't as devoted to the patients. Dr. Reyes is really sweet and very experienced, (but stretched very thin). So I recommend him with some reservations.

Mass General also had a good rep, but I couldn't get authorization to go there from WC. I did not have a good experience at the Beth Israel, so I can't recommend them, and their ketamine program has been closed for quite a while.

I am now using Dr. Chopra out of Pawtucket RI for my ketamine infusions (RI WC court odered). He's done my last 5. He's just south of the RI border. Chopra does not have as much experience with RSD as Reyes, but he will spend more time with you and is really diligent in trying to find solutions to your pain. His number is 401-729-4985. BTW, if you are WC he will LOVE you since it pays better than traditional health insurance plans, as long as your treatments remain authorized.

Good luck to you. XOXOX Sandy
