Do you mean LYRICA rather than Lyria, dd in pain? If so, I can amend the title for you.

If you did mean Lyrica, it caused all sorts of bad side effects from me. I never had my blood sugar tested though. It did cause me to have headaches, dizziness, vertigo, and upset stomach. There are other nerve drugs available if that particular one doesn't work.

My mother is a type I diabetic on an insulin pump and the dr. put her on Lyrica for fibromyalgia. It increased her blood glucose levels, she had 3 pump site infections in 1 month (she had 1 in 7 years) and an eye infection that wouldn't go away. Because of the infections and increase in blood glucose levels she had to go off of it. Once off, has not had a pump site infection since (3 years).
