I have had a small amount of this type of rash... went away in a day or two, though.
Now I get red spots on my purple feet (seems like another type of rash to me). OUCH!! I hope your feet start feeling better soon. ![]() |

Ouch is right I hope your feet start feeling better soon, for the edema they do manitol infusion to release the fluid from the nerve cells. this is serious edema. it would really hepl you. I get that rash on my right arm and back. the only thing that helps is an epsom salt bath and then my gel. the gel has lidocaine and 5 other drugs in it. it really is the only thing that take the pain away. Mine have been diagnosised as pain rashes. good luck to you. Hopeyou willl look up the manitol infusion- your swelling is fluid inthe nerve cell not the normal tissue swelling. you need to get rid of the edema. take care, cz

Hi there, This rash looks like a vasculitis. It is hard to diagnose something like this over the internet but I have had vasculitis a few times and it looked the same.Vasculitis is an inflammation of the blood vessels.
It can be caused by problems in the immune system, sometimes by medications, allergies and infection. I seemed to get mine when my oedema was at it's worst. In this form I needed no treatment but if you get a fever etc, then you need to seek medical help. Take care ![]() |

This looks similiar to the type of rash hubby has - Although his is not NEAR as bad as yours. He has the dry flakey skin and redness in tiny patchy areas and now with this tens unit it is irritating his skin more and it is getting more dominant in those areas.
As of yet they are not giving or using anything on him but we've been using on our own Corn Huskers Lotion and a natural Aloe Vera lotion from L`Bri http://www.lbrionline.com and it is seeming to help right now.

I hope this doesn't pop up twice. I wrote this once and I sent it away into cyberspace somewhere.
I use Selsun Blue Shampoo for dry scalp and hair and it works good for dry skin. I had it on my face for years and then someone told me about the Selsun Blue and it cleared it right up. Just lather it on with a little water and do it regularly for a few weeks and you will see a difference. I told my sister-in-law about this years ago and she swears by it. I keep some on hand so if I start getting it again on my face but so far I haven't had to use it. Ada |
