Heart Happy Thanksgiving...

my family!! Today has been such a bittersweet day for me..Such a wonderful day to give thanks for all of the riches in my life.. I miss my Mom so very much having lost her only 2 weeks ago...but at the same time..I love knowing she is with my Dad on this special day.. I am so blessed having their love carefully threaded into my heart... I am also thanking my blessing having met each of you on this forum.. Even tho RSD is so nasty..it did bring me here, allowing us to become a caring 'family'. You have all brought me such joy and friendship all year long... you have given me such a nice gift and I am forever thankful!! Happy Thanksgiving dear family... Sleep well and enjoy each day.. one day at a time..

Much love, Kathy

Yes, I too am thankful for having found this forum recently. In just a short time, I have learned so much, but more importantly discovered that there are those who can related to what I'm experiencing. Validation. Not something I've got much of in the many professional office visits I've had. But then I am thankful for having found my neurologist, who diagnosed me and is working to make me whole. He says it is his gut feeling, I need a bit of it in my gut. But he has relieved my pain immensely and is helping me to dot the i's and cross the t's I need for my WC claim and my lawyer.
I am sorry about your loss, but what a blessing to have had such a wonderful relationship with your parents. I'm sure that has helped you deal along the way.
May the new year be kind to you as you work through your grief, and redefine your life finding new sources of encouragement. Not replacements, but new sources.
God bless you and may He soothe the ache of your heart with the balm of His love,
Have a quiet day.
pat
