Default O.M.G!! my first PM Dr. arrested!!!!

I really don't know why this surprises me, but the very first PM Dr. I was referred to that was a total jerk to me was arrested this morning on drug charges. Intent to distribute, prescription fraud and the list goes on. He was the first Dr to dismiss my symptoms and would not do anything for my pain...he was writing scripts for people like me and then selling them. My GP says I may be subpeoned to testify...karma will kick you in the butt every time!! Now, waiting on the second PM to get his due. Both Drs treated me like crap and wouldn't help me with anything. Wow, my head is reeling!

This man was so cold and horribly mean to my husband and told him to shut up and that his "opinion" didn't matter. My husband just asked him to give me some relief because Lyrica and Neurontin made me hallucinate and he was scared for me. This doctor turned to me and said that if I "think" I had RSD that he was going to have to give me a block, which he said meant putting needles in my back and that it was a very painful process and was I prepared for that. I told him that it couldn't be any worse than the pain that I already had. On the way home I cried and told my husband that I didn't want that man touching me. He gave me the creeps and NO ONE tells my sweet husband to SHUT UP! I tell everyone that if they are mean to my hubby that they will surely be punished.

jeeepers creepers!!!!! oi!!! not good on his bedside manner at all!!! I hope you have found a better doctor since him!!!

I often wonder in times like this if its them really abusing their power or if its them giving medication to pain patients. In a sense pain medication alone doesn't always help. I dont know.

What are your guy's thoughts?

Default Hi Cindi

WOW, I am glad you got away from this JERK!

Unfortunately my sister did not. My Mom kept telling me she was going to this PM doctor in Cumberland to pick up her script for meds. I said you mean she is going to go in for an appointment to see and talk with him. Mom replied NO she just has to go in and pick it up from the nurse, she has actually NEVER MET the DR.

I was horrified. My sister DOES have some serious medical issues. For a doctor to simply hand out narcotics blew my mind. I told my Mom two months ago there was something really wrong at this place. I know how legit PM's work after 5 spinal surgeries. I have spent many days in rehab, hospitals and PM offices. My PM Doc is wonderful. We spend about 15-20 minutes each month talking about my progress and rehab schedule.

I know this is putting REAL patients who need help in a bind but I am soooo glad this man is out of business. The people who were working there are just as guilty in my opinion. They should have stepped up and reported his sorry behind!!

I hope you are getting the help you need.

Namaste

Jeanette
