Sandy,
I just watched this, your wonderful daughter, Lindsay!
I'm almost in tears!
She has such a mature grasp of this!
We need to spread the word, she's right!

WE need T-Shirts that say 'RSD-Don't Touch, Ask Me'.

Or like that......
We need to buy brochures from the RSDSA.org, and hand them out!
Leave them on counters, where we shop.
Whatever small thing we can do, we need a groundswell, or volunteers, (US), to get the word out.
And, we need to carry these brochures with us!

Sound like a PIA? Maybe, a little.

I can say this, Since I worked with the public, for most of my life, I've encountered I'd say at least 25 people, who I could tell by their faces, were in such pain, and they described, (because I showed an interest!) they described RSD!

I gave them Dr Knobler and Dr Schartzman's name and numbers.

Most of all, I told them, that they weren't nutz! They had a REAL disorder!
Get help!

And, they did.
I'm happy to say, that most of them got back to me, and thanked me.

Again, Sandy, be proud of your daughter, she's wonderful!
And, send her my kind thoughts!

Pete

Sandy -

Lindsay is amazing. Truly. Her comment at the end on universal pain and kindness was sublime, literally on par with the Dalai Lama:
My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.
You done good.

Hey all,

GramE, She is a great kid, I am so proud of her.

Pete, Yes I think we should make the T-Shirt...And spread through brochures, what a great idea.

Sandy, thanks for putting it on your facebook...You know she is a funny kid.

Mike, She is a kind soul. She is always thinking of others over herself. She feels as you do...She is so pure at heart.

I am very proud of her. She told me that she wouldn't trade her life for anything. She isn't happy that she has RSD, but she feels that she would not be the person she is today if she didn't have it. It has made her a better person for it.

Sandy

Hello Miss Ali,

I will thank her for you. How are you doing? Any better? Were you able to find the salt tablets?

Have a wonderful Christmas.

Love Sandy
