Just emailed my PM doc. The block is done (for purely informative construct):
"Para vertebrally, approximately one and half an inch from the midline. Oblique view, between the lateral processes, contacting the antero lateral part of the L2 and L4 bodies in a 2 needle approach and inject approximtely 20 ml of a local anesthetic."
There ya go...

Default 3 outta 4

Have survived the first 3. After the first one my back was in pain for almost 2 days before the 2nd cortisone was shoved in there. That was yesterday. Got another one a few hours ago, but apparently the chicken sandwich did not approve of it. Tomorrow will be my last "event" hopefully. The foot will be stabbed finally. I assume it will be all of the foot, since they said to make sure it's very clean & no marks. I have very tiny veins that like to wander around, so the nurses didn't find it as humorous as I did when they had to call in others to give it a try. Hey- I'm not the one who said I couldn't drink anything 8 hrs prior. :rolleyes
