Default Hi All,

It was 65 here yesterday and the wind started blowing around 2. I now have 3 trees down in my yard. We have winds here but not like we have been having of late.

Some areas of Co. is getting 3 feet of snow. I feel bad for people who have to deal with the ice and snow. I love going to the mountains but I don't think I'd want to live there.

It's funny though, the way it is in the mountains here you can have 4 feet of snow and still be able to run around without a coat. We use to picnic in the mountains and the snow would be up to the top of the picnic table. The kids were running around without any coats on. Crazy weather.

30s - 40s
snow flurries the last 3 mornings

tonite might be the worst of it- but only a few inches at most in the Portland metro area , a bit more in the hills.

Well, last two days, it was actually SUNNY, but bitter cold....and very icey. Supposed to have "isolated" snow showers the next few days, and very windy.

We got over three feet of snow with the last storm--and it looks like it has headed East, so I am sorry that some of you will be getting hit...I guess the best thing is to make sure the fridge and pantry is stocked up, because if you get hit like WE got hit, it will be very difficult to get out of the house...!

Stay WARM!

Cool

Annick03,
OMG!!!! McCook NEhuh??? I know exactly where that is. I grew up in Lawton IA & lived most of my adult life in NW Iowa. I am now living in the Sierras in eatern CA. About 50 miles east of Sacramento & 50 miles west of South Lake Taho. Moved here in '99. Now isn't it a small small world??? I am just amazed I guess. Who do you doctor with??? Anyone in Sioux City??? Just sorta curious to see if I know of them or heard of them. Most of my family all live in the Sioux City area.

Sorry that you have RSD though. It sure sucks having it huh?

Ada,
We just got done with 6 days of rain/SNOW here. Where I live at approx 3200 ft we have had over 2 feet of snow during that time. We didn't have any wind to really speak of though. No blizzard here. On Friday we got 15 Inches of the crap. I moved out here thinking I was moving away from snow. Boy did I ever get a surprise. We live up to high in the Sierras, but damned if we could afford the rent any lower down in the valley. Suppose to have sunny to partly cloudy until next Tuesday.

Well going to try to catch some sleep.
