Default What is with this cold weather in the Northeast

Hi Everyone,

First, let me say a Happy New Year to all the wonderful people on this fourm.
I hope 2011 will bring new hope so we can all fell better.

Second, it is 11 degress this morning and my arms feel like they want to fall off my body. I have been doing well for awhile with my RSD but I will tell you things can change. Since this weather set in 3 weeks ago I can't believe what has flared. Some feelings I have not felt in 2 years. So if anyone else is feeling this weather I can relate.

Keep warm everyone.

Default Hi Gabby,

Happy New Year to you too.

I have seen on the news the bad weather some of the states are getting that they don't usually have. I can imagine what it does to the RSD. The weather is what drives me the craziest with the RSD. Our weather here has stayed in the 50's to 70's so far this winter. I like it. Not normal though.

I even went to Buena Vista to spend Christmas with the kids and they didn't have much snow on the ground, just in spots. I was expecting a cold white Christmas but that was ok too.

I can't stand the cold but I can't stand the heat either. I bet you are getting a lot of barometer changes too. That really affects the RSD.

Hope your weather calms down soon so your RSD can.

Ada

Gabby, It's not just the northeast, I'm in Florida, and it's been sooo cold down here also. We moved from up north to get away from this cold. It's killing all of us wimps down here!

Happy New Year to you Gabbycakes and everyone here.

The cold has been awful tho at least yesterday and today were a bit better and I finally got some relief from my flare.

I hope the New Year brings everyone less pain and hopefully a little closer to a cure.

I read somewhere Europe may be experiencing the coldest winter in a thousand years.

I am not in the northeast, i live in utah, but it is friggin cold here too. i don't think we have had a day over 30 in 4 weeks. I hate it. I used to love the snow, with skiing and all, but now the cold makes my foot hurt. My foot is really cold all of the time, it feels like ice. this sucks
