I am in the middle of going thru a series of neuro testing and the office called to tell me my ANSAR test came back abnormal. I got so nervous. I said I am very upset..The secretary said don't worry- the doc just wants to make sure you come back for your f/u visit but that visit isnt until may 3rd! Just so nervous now..I still have to go thru nerve conduction/EMG and muscle biopsy (which they told me is not to invasive-like having a mole removed). I am scared that I have heart problems..how can I wait until may?

Hi Debbie, What's an ANSAR test? It looks at your heart?

I just looked it up.
http://www.tlcdiagnostics.com/patien.../ansar-testing Interesting--it suggests that your autonomic nervous system is out of balance. Couldn't this just be due to the RSD, rather than a symptom of something more serious? I don't know. Try not to worry too much; I'm sure they will do more tests to rule out anything serious. It sounds like this test can identify problems in the early stage, too, where treatment might be more effective, so that's reassuring. |
