Frown SCS infection causing removal

I am finally out of the hospital. I got an infection in the unit in my spine & in my battery pack. It totally SUCKS because I was still getting 100% relief and then BOOM, 2 1/2 weeks later, the infection from hell!!! Although I am out of the hospital & recovering well from the full removal of the SCS unit, I am back in SEVERE pain from the RSD! I am at a hotel in Jacksonville waiting to be able to make the trip home with the least amount of pain. Right now I barely made it from the hospital to the hotel just 5 minutes away. The pain is unrelenting & unbearable. I did sleep some last night when my husband was here with me. I only got up & got sick from the pain two times at night, and I only got sick, 3 times today. So things are looking up, I guess you could say.

The Dr's are hoping that I may still qualify for another implant once I heal (Their key word was MAY)!!
