Default Ulnar Nerve Transposition

has anyone with the ulnar nerve transposition surgery had success?

There are several of us needing this....

Im a TOS with severe CRPS patient. New findings through an ulnar nerve block with tomography showed the surgeon chiseled out my elbow bone which he thought he would stick my nerve in this little crater. Dr J found it completely flattened laying on my elbow which has added to the TOS insane throbbing, burning and arm pain. Its only taken 9 years for the ins co to approve the block and now they wont approve the surgeon consult nor the EMG

Default Ulnar nerve transposition

Hi! I just saw your post (I just joined the group) and wanted to reply. I had my left ulnar nerve transposition in May of 1995. Unfortunately the RSD had already set in and so the transposition had no effect on elimination of pain. However, with my RSD "under control" , which means I operate at a pain level of 4-5 - acceptable levels for me, my elbow is comfortable and functions with full range. So in that respect, the surgery was successful. If you have been living with pain for some time (ya know, burning tingling prickling) you may not have a fully successful outcome but my fingers will be crossed for you!

Best Wishes!
