Default Failed Again

I just opened a letter from my Kentucky State Representative informing me that House Bill 234 which addresses proper training about RSD/CPRS for nurses did NOT even recieve enough votes by the House Health and Welfare Committee to be passed on to the House Floor for a vote!!!!
SO SAD for all of us, not just in Kentucky. How is Awareness ever going to be achieved in the Medical Field!!!!

So we all just suffer in silence-God Bless each and everyone of you. Fondly Carol

Hi Carol,
It amazes me that millions of us suffer with rsd and some in the medical field are clueless about what it even is. I had an ER doctor tell me back in 2005 that when patients come in with illnesses they know nothing about they get the chart and go on the internet and research it before coming in to see us. I just sat there with my mind blown away. So much for educating the medical field...I feel it my duty to explain to everyone I meet that shows an interest in rsd all the facts and figures about it. That seems to be the only way we will get the word out. And I try to reach those in my area that I find out have rsd and let them know they are not alone and we need to support each other. Hang in there and keep up your great work.

Hi Carol

I found this at the rsds website . its a template on how to start a bill for our states. Is this what you used to begin your Bill request?

http://www.rsds.org/4/awareness/Advo...enessBill.html

then i searched my state, Virginia but all i could find is that the first week of October is RSD week....bug deal with out any other funds or training for medical people...nothing else i could find. http://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp...?951+ful+HJ624

i think it shows us a good way to start for someone like me who hasnt a clue on how to do it.

See what you think
Lori

The incredible thing about this bill is that it was only requiring a measley 2 hours of training. Wish I could just have 2 PAINFREE hours lol-. Thank you for your comments. Fondly-Carol
