Default Numbness Spreading

I've had CRPS just over 4 years now in my left leg and right arm although a while ago there was a query over a spread to my right shoulder area
I also have scheuremanns and back problems that present like CRPS but my PM is unsure as to whether this is CRPS or Scheuremanns causing the problems
Around a year ago my back started to go slightly numb, then the whole of my leg from my thigh went numb, although there are times when this is patchy and I have some sensation
Over the past fewdays my left (none CRPS) arm has started to go numb and I have noticed that when I am on the wii my left arm will mimic some of the movements my right arm does - not all of them and only when numb
Its really strange and I do tend to think its neurological
I have had MRIs that show no change to my back and head MRIs also ruled out any lesions
Has anyone experienced something similar
Thanks
Ali x

Ali,

This is so frustrating. I dont have feeling in my fingers or my right hand. I get periods of numbness in my leg as well. I don't have the kind of numbness that you have but hang in there girl! Its so much easier when we know what it is even if we can't do anything about it. The whole nervous system is so messed up from this rsd that I often wonder how much other stuff it takes a toll on year after year. Hang in there and let me know what ends up happening- if you ever find what its coming from. Are you able to walk around? I know what I don't walk alot my leg goes numb so I have to keep it moving. Have a good weekend hun!

I am sorry for all you continue to go through and have. Do you have a doctor apt soon? I have had times where I thought my condition was spreading but it ended up not being. I am not sure what was going on. I do know I am very sensitive even in my non rsd areas. I also know I rely on my non rsd areas a lot at that causes it's own issues. Do you find you are doing that? Are you using the limbs or are unable to? I hope you can get some answers and relief.

Thank you all so much for your responses!

I have been diagnosed with Scheurmmans and when the numbness started in my left leg, my PM Doc immediately got me into hospital for an MRI scan. The MRI scan didn't show any spinal changes but I was told that it could be either the Scheurmann's or the RSD causing it. My PM Doc hasn't seen numbness in any other RSD patient so isn't sure if it's that and if it is, what to do about it!

The numbness in my hand is getting worse and I now have tingling in my fingers and pins and needles. My mums getting really worried about it so called my PM Doctors Nurse who told her she would speak to the Neurologist and get back asap ... still no word after 4 days though!

I just want to know whats causing it. I'm sick of not being able to carry foods, hold drinks, cut things up etc !

Thanks so much again and I will be sure to keep you all updated!
