Default Hey all!!

Was wondering how everyone is doing, so thought lets go see!!

Hope everyone is coping, and has a good balance of mind and meds goin on. I have been doing ok. The RSD is not quite under control, but I have decided it is not going to rob me of any more experiences, so im out doing however much I can do. Sometimes I over do it, but most times I have been able to do most of the things I want to do.

Went to the top Neuro doc in my area, and he said he agrees with the other doctors that diagnosed RSD, and also said he was going to write a letter to my primary doc telling him we are doing all there is to do. He says there is no cure.......DUH! So there isnt anything he can do, especially since it has been 11 years of it for me. In one way I was happy that I didnt have to endure anymore emg's, poking, or testing to find the same thing every time.

So that is kinda cool. Lets me and the primary doc keep doing what we have been doing, which has got the RSD kinda under control.

One of the things that I have been doing that I thought was not going to be in my life anymore, is going out into the woods looking for the elusive Bigfoot. Found where he lives, and man is it exciting to go there! Sure I cant hike around anymore, but when you happen into the big guys back yard, well he comes to you LOL! I posted some stills here in my album of a couple of bigfoot. Check them out!!

Prayin everyone finds a way to live with RSD

I second that!! I hope everyone is doing well and coping as best they can!! This disease does not deserve our undivided attention and good for you Allengammer in moving forward in trying to do the things you enjoy most...!! I'm nerve giving up but I will admit, I wonder at times where my strength comes from... My RSD scares me more today than it did yesterday...now internal...it's a horse of a different color... But I think back of the days with all of our friends here...always ready to share and help...well, I'm back here for each of you also...

May you all find the comfort of the words and love of our fellow RSDers... I hope with this note I get to see our old pals kick back in and share... Share the wealth of love, experiences and happy and sad of our daily battles....

Hugz for each of you!!!

Kathy

Hi Kathy!!

A lot of the old timers are friends with me on facebook. I too have come back to be of help. I also am more afraid of the RSD monster as it has went into my kidneys, and is attacking from different angles than it did at first. I just cant let it steal everything from me anymore.

It does get to me though, and will put me down sometimes a few weeks at a time, but I fight every step!

I so understand the fears with the spreads. Your primary doctor manages your RSD? I have seen 4 internists I think through this and all have been clueless about RSD.
It is great that you are trying to find new ways to enjoy what you used to be able to do.
