i got the impression from my doctor that it is new news that mixing the two is dangerous. i know i researched the drug myself when i first took it when it first came out and there was nothing that was a red flag to me ... i did report it to my pharmacy so they would know. doctors who are not in teaching hospitals and not always read up on their meds ...that i know.

My Doc put me on Cymbalta about a month and a half ago after being on Lexapro for 4 years. It takes about 4 - 6 weeks to kick in so you have to be patient. In the meantime it will give you chills. But It is a wonderful antidepressant and it does help a little FOR ME with pain. My pain is wicked bad so I take Morphine.

I'm on 30 mg of cymbalta for pain plus 1800 mg's of neurontin. I don't have any side affects from cymbalta, but the neurontin makes me very tired. |
