I have to go somewhere warmer for next year. We got hit by Irene, no power for 2 days but it was warm then, got 10inches of snow Saturday, again lost power for 2 days. It was to cold for me I had to go to a hotel. Not looking forward to this winter.

Hope everyone keeps warm.

Great seafood and plenty of chickens. Tysons and Perdue Chickens are raised there, and can stink to high heaven during the summer. Never move near a chicken farm, nothing else in the world smells like it. Make your eye's water.

Hi Jim,
I think chicken farms rank right up there next to hog farms...boy are they bad in NC when you get behind a trailer heading to the slaughter house and the road is only one way each way. It can be a long smelly road. It always struck me as kind of sad for the poor little hogs;.)

Another good one is fresh cut asparagus...I lived in SW AZ and when they cut the fields down the smell is horrible...ranks right up there with chickens and hogs lol.

We all have to move somewhere where it is warm and no rain/snow the entire year nor does it have any nasty smells! Maybe we could call it Rsdville haha. Just being silly today.
Take care,
kathy d
