Would you mind posting every few weeks to let us know how you are doing? I think so many people want to try this therapy but have concerns about cost vs success.

Hi! Well, the therapy really worked except that I walked too much and had a setback. So, PLEASE don't increase walking too much. I would say don't walk more after the treatment than how you started, and increase your walking at a ridiculously slow pace. NO matter how great you feel, after two weeks some pain can be back. If you want to start walking and running, don't. Increase your walking much, much more slowly than you think it is possible and then cut that in half.

My pain is back and was pretty bad but I think it was because I started to walk too much too soon.. so in a way I am worse than I started... but I am getting better again.. some RSD symptoms are gone completely... So definitely undergo this therapy but go slowwwwwwly afterwards.

The doctor has been extremely supportive and helpful. He is the best, of the best of doctors. I feel really lucky to be his patient. I am having boosters to get back on my feet again.

we were always told that this was something you might need treatment for many times due to remission. hopefully you will get the same results after another treatment series.

Could you share with us the cost of this treatment? Is any portion covered by your health insurance?

Thanks!

Hi! I really wish I could have another set of ten treatments but cant't afford it now. I would love to be able to. It costs 150 dollars per treatment plus a 250 payment for initial evaluation. One does 10 consecutive days of treatments but you pay by the day and you can stop getting treated. If you want.

I saw people whose swollen feet became normal-looking and started to walk. It is definitely worth it for some people! I should say that the doctor reviews your medications every day and adjusts your meds, and orders blood tests if needed, and treats other health problems if he can, or is needed. All his efforts are free of charge. He really cares about the well-being of his patients. He is the first doctor I met that really cares.

did he say whether you needed all ten days for a follow up or just a few days worth of treatment?

Hi! Just wanted to give you an update.

I have to report that unfortunately most of the pain came back and ended up a bit worse than I started with...I am not sure. I heard from two other people whose pain also came back within weeks, and some patients who have many, many sets of treatments per year needing to come back... So in my experience the benefit was transient, yet it might not be so if you are more careful and conservative. It's not easy to take it slowly though because the doctor pushes you a bit too much. He is a wonderful, caring doctor but he can get over-excited and can encourage you to walk too much too soon. I really think you should give it a try though, knowing you have to be really careful. It definitely can make the pain less for a while at the very least, which is something a lot of people want.
