Default We are back

Hi everyone! I missed everyone! Mark, I miss you horribly! And wow have you changed!! LOL (Like the avatar) I am in sunny Bakersfield now going to school to do blood draw (vampire) and graduate next month. Workers comp rehabbed me. My wrist is worse so they are scheduling me for surgery. I am scared to death but I can't feel my fingers anymore in the RSD arm...carpal tunnel is soooo bad.

Anyway I missed you all and someone please say HIIII to me or I will go off the deep-end!!

Love from Deb

Talking That was Super Sonic or something!!!

Deb!!!

Wow! You are fast! ROFL!!!

And here I was....blabbering away in Mark's "going to work" thread, trying to build up anticipation....and get him all excited riled up....and looking for you so he would literally POUNCE on you when you got here....and you slip in when I wasn't looking. LMAO!!! Funny Funny! Serves me right for trying to rile poor Mark up like that....

I am just glad that you are HERE! Glad that the links worked! Glad that we had Yahooey on at the same time this morning....Glad that you got here so easy! Glad that you are here in this new "home" of ours with all of us....it makes it feel even MORE like "Home" and "Family" and how it should feel here.

I am really liking this new place. The more that I go "exploring"...the more that I read...the more that I see how things work, and how they are working out, and how this place is going to be run...the more that I like it. I haven't felt like posting this much...in...well...long time. Especially not when pain levels are up. Just wait until I get them knocked back down again! ROFL...Everyone is probably going to get SICK of me and my posting! But...Deb..I know that you hadn't felt much like posting for a while too (which is where I was going with all of that..) for a while either. I hope that you will here. I am looking at it as a Fresh Start, you know?

I am just so glad you are here!!!! Get ready for the (((((Hugs))))), because I know that once Mark sees you are here (if he hasn't already by the time I get this posted..LOL) he is going to freak!

Who knows? Maybe he will get so happy, he might even feel like breakout out with cocoanuts and doing a Hula for us? ROFLMAO!!!! (Won't ever let you forget that Mark..you know that..Right? )

Love and ((Hugs))
Jose

PS..I also noticed the "Change" in Mark. Ermm...Foutain of Youth? Or...erm...Something? Heh heh

Jose

Deb! How wonderful - I haven't seen your pretty picture for SOOOO long - Jose, you are so clever. Deb, you really showed up at the right time - I needed somebody to say Hiiii to

I'm burning the midnight oil, got a deadline tonorrow - Deb, I've got to talk to you about this carpal tunnel thing - I'm in agony after finishing this drawing job; I'm thinking this right wrist thing with me may well be a carpel-type thing, not spread...

But I'll come back tomorrow and hunker down.. Damn this time difference...Yeah BT1's got a server up at least. I'm staying put here. I like it. A lot.

Deb, really good to see you here. I'm delighted.
xx all the best

Hi Debbie....how is the vampire school going? and your almost done! good for you! Gosh, it seems like yesterday you emailed me telling me about your school.

I'm hoping to get back to work sometime this fall, crossing my fingers. Walking is still difficult for me but if I can find a job in an outpatient clinic or home health care I might be okay. I'm going to start out contingent first before I say yes to a part time job. I'm collecting social security benefits but they have a program ticket to work which allows you to try to go back to work up to a year and if you can't then you can go back on social security so....

Well, I'm glad I found the site cuz I sure have missed everyone. I have been checking every day to see if the other site was up but no luck. Jewells

Hi Deb,

What is this vampire school thing? I'm imagining blood bank stuff but, I dunno...

So, my big question, what does this carpal tunnel feel like? Because I think I've got it - not in my RSD wrist - I can't *imagine* how awful that would be. I wondered if you could give me some idea of how it started (docs are agueing over what it is, but I think it's repetitive something) - it started a few months ago with me in my right hand and isn't improving.

Any description would be much appreciated, and - oh yes! we must drag those grass skirts outta the closet, and the cocunut bra, and *Dana*!

all the best.

Artist, I actually have been in school for the past year to become a medical assistant and drawing blood was part of the class. I found out I was good at it so have decided to take the State Board and try my hand at getting a job in a lab.

As far as the carpal tunnel, I don't know if I got it as a result of the fracture in my wrist and the RSD but all I know is it is getting worse. I can't feel my fingers anymore and the RSD pain goes up to my elbow so i have all these awful sensations in that arm. Surgery was certainly my last resort since it is not too good of an idea to cut into an RSD limb but my choices ran out.

The symptoms are aching and numbness and like lightning strikes in the hand. My grip is gone. Your doctor can perform a nerve test to see. It's not fun either

Good luck and I will let you know how my surgery goes...I am waiting for the ok from workers comp so it may take 100 years! Deb
