Default test results came back

from the sleep study i had done..yep....i now also have sleep apnea..at least this test showed something.i guess that is better than all the guessing games i have been thru.. i stop breathing 20x's an hour...next step is a CPAP machine to use at home when i sleep...waiting for the next appt to get this set up...hopefully this will help..he said either it does and you love it or you hate it... trying to fight off sleeping all day..don't remember yesterday from 9 am----5 pm... today the provigil seems to be working better..it is so weird that some days it works and i am semi-awake and alert and other days it does absolutly nada... well..off to do some laundry while my eyes are still open...peaceful days and nights to all----moonstar(linda)

Hi Linda!

Well, something definite to go on, I think that's a big step forward. Scary, though, the breathing thing, but thank goodness they found out about it.

I really hope you're one of the ones who love the machine - what's it like? Hey, I don't know anything about provigil, but what happens if you up the dosage a little? Would you be bouncing off the walls and too hyper?

Must say, I really need my coffee to kick start me in the morning, don't care if it's bad for me - dragging myself through the day is bad for me too .

Anyway, I'm very glad you're starting to get some proper treatment, well done for getting yourself there!

All the best

Hello Linda: Finding the problem is the first step in getting some help. I hope you get some help with the machine. Good luck with it Regards, Lil

My father in law has had one of these and I have another friend of the family that does as well - they both LOVE it - They are finally able to sleep soundly, deeply and safe too!
