Default MSM Anyone?

Hi all,

1.5 years in and always on the lookout for anything that could help. My current list is Cymbalta, Gabapentin,Nortriptyline and Tramadol. today I found a review on a random website, it was a fellow suffer who had accidently began taking her father's MSM (he was taking it for mild knee soreness). Anywhoo she reported that she had really good pain relief from taking 2000mg a day. Has anyone else heard about this for us or know anyone who has, or is using MSM for CRPS relief?

Hi! MSM works great for me! However only the Whole Foods brand works for me. Not too Yarrow or any of the others.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) personally I've never heard of it.

I took it for my RSI and it helped to relieve my symptoms & discomfort.
Also added it back again when my RSI/TOS occurred. And also take it when my hair/nails/skin seem brittle or dull.
It can be helpful for so many things- hair, skin, allergies, asthma, heartburn, just to mention a few, Google it and read about it.

Hi Kathyd, MSM is a natural supplement that is used for LOTS of different ailments from heartburn to Fibro pain. It can be taken in pill form or it can be found in creams for skin rashes, topical headache relief, muscle and joint pain. last year my Aunt sent me a wonderful cream that was a MSM and lavender combo it was really calming when I felt anxious (a little dab on the temples)
and I currently have a jar of Emu Oil Cream (with MSM) and it does help with the deep down in my joints pain (mainly the elbow and wrist). I did a little more research last night and there are interesting testimonies from "users" who are having results in pain relief when taking MSM as a daily supplement ( 1,000 to 2,000 mg per day) . I'm fairly sure I will be giving this a try. I just wondered if any one here had success or knew of anyone personally who had.
