Default new member seeking FMICHAEL related post

I'n a newbie here, but not to RSD. I've had my own adventures at Mayo in Rochester pursuing the cause of severe neuropathic pain, similar but unrelated to the rsds that my child has and caught a 15mo long glimpse of the ways you folks suffer. I don't know how old your post was, fmichael, but I've searched in vain. It was in re to Mayo, their approach to pain and how that related to the head? of the neurology dept. Would it be possible for you to restate what you know,if you recall? I would never ask,if it wasn't important. When I was there is 2009,I was a pt in several different depts, which later showed me how their ratings stay so high. In my case,I found no answers there, and suspect you know the crux of their aversion to any narcotic pain relief, which at that time, was the key to my partial recovery.

Thanks in advance for any assistance, laurie
