Default Question about muscle

So I went to water therapy on Friday. Since my accident my pain has been in my knee and it pops. In the last week or two my lower and upper leg has been starting to hurt. However, on Friday my knee popped and it felt as though I ripped something in my calf. One line of pain straight down into my foot. That whole day anytime I took a step pain shot througout that line. Last night I couldn't walk. Between the knee pain and the calf pain and then pain shooting through my foot I was done and my son gave me his shoulder and helped me get to bed. Do you think I pulled a muscle? Is it the RSD in the knee that causes it to hurt soooo badly? Can you pull a muscle in the water?

Now it hurts to lean it against my recliner, it hurts to hang it off the edge of anything, and it hurts to have anything bump under the foot (if my foot is resting on something and it bumps it hurts).

Christine - k I'm off to do my profile

Chiropractors can do adjustments on most joints mine does soft tissue treatments also.
I wonder if something has just popped out in your knee and needs to be re aligned? Are you hyper mobile or loose jointed?

I just got my computer fixed this week after it being messed up for almost a month- so i must have missed what your accident was.

Also if your hips or any part of the body is misaligned it will cause things down the chain to change or hurt.

My daughter was having a lot of knee problems and the chiro did an evaluation and a small adjustment to her hips -she hasn't complained of knee pain since.

Dec 2, 06, I was walking on the sidewalk and stepped onto a covered manhole. The lid tipped in, my foot went in with it up to my knee. I twisted sideways and landed on the concrete onto my elbow and hip. Since then - I have extreme pain shooting out from my knee. The MRI and the Xray both show thinning cartilage but nothing remarkable to explain the pain I am having. I was finally referred outside Kaiser to physiotherapy where the doc did his exam and stated "you have RSD. I would like to get you started on water therapy quickly, you might still have a chance at beating this." I am very optimistic. I have a few other questions on another post here that maybe you might be able to help answer. I will find it and bump it.

I plan on contacting the phys med doc and asking for a referral to neurology. I am looking to try and nip this in the bud if it's not too late.
