I worked for one of the few drs trained under the founding dr of nerve decompression and to answer ur questions the surgery works for some because it is caught early. The longer ur nerve is compressed the less likely u have of nerve regeneration. There is also a vitamin that is recommended afterwards to helP with regeneration I believe it's L-Arginine.

If you post a list of all your symptoms we might be better able to help with suggestions.

Have you read about thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) sometimes with cubital & ulnar compression symptoms, the actual cause can be higher up the chain , in the neck/collarbone/shoulder areas.

Default RSD due to nerve entrapment?

Thanks a lot for this.

My only concern on doing surgery for the nerve entrapment is to be immobilised for too long. The doctor said more or less 3 weeks.

Everytime I don't move my limbs my symptoms worsen a lot. Also my nerve entrapment seems to get worse with hot weather, so, I really have to do something.

I believe RsD is our natural body response to the stress of having a nerve entraped. Do you thing I shoul undergo surgery? Here where I live, they don't do endoscopic surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome.

I had my nerve entrapped due to repetitive movements, and developed RSD due to immobilisation. I thought it was the best thing to do since I was in pain.

Check out Dr. Dellon's website about nerve compression. He is the best in the field. (from what I hear)
