Default 5 days until my surgery and the weather.

I have 5 days until my surgery. I have to be there at 11:30 on Wed. Fortunetly I have been too busy to worry about it. We are having my yard sale today and tomorrow.

I am all moved in and had so much junk we still didn't get it all pulled out of the shed. Hopefully as things sale today we can pull more out.

The weather has been crazy here and today it's cold. My right arm and hand is the one I started with RSD in from the TOS surgery and it has been going nuts here lately. Also my pelvic area got worse also.

The bad part for me is that summer is just as bad as winter. I sweat more and I am so uncomfortable and my pain can get worse with the discomfort.

My right hand stays like ice most of the time. I do pretty good with my RSD until the weather goes haywire. Here lately it is so haywire that the weather men can't even predict it. They have missed more days here lately, and it is really noticeable how bad they have gotten at predicting the weather. You don't know how to dress here.

Default Best wishes with your surgery

Ada,
Best wishes with your surgery. Keep us posted. Sorry the weather is affecting you now. Yes - I agree it is certainly cold for this time of year. I bothers my knees, ankles , face, back. Well I guess really everything.
We'll be thinking of you. Post us and let us know how you are doing.
Thinking of you,
Sydney

Hi Dreambeliever--The VERY BEST for your surgery!! Hang in there with the weather changes--they DO change, and hopefuly, your RSD will be more comfortable when the weather stabilizes! (where I live the saying goes--"if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes"!!!)

BEST thoughts and PRAYERS to you!!!

Thank all of you for the good wishes. This is going to be a very hard week for me. I have been very depressed today and missing Bill like crazy.

Tomorrow being Easter, we always had it out at our place and the boys did their hunt out there. This year they are too old they say. I honestly don't care how old they got, I see grownups hunting eggs at some hunts.

My surgery is just 4 days off and Bill and I would have been married 35 years next Saturday. My kids have an anniversary this month along with my friend that lost her husband on the day of Bill's funeral. It's going to be a bittersweet month. I am dreading it.

Hi Bronco4586,
Of course I don't mind thank you for asking if I mind. I need to have a huge amount of scare tissure removed even though it will come back but right now it is in lumps ,right now it is in my side into my ribs under my ribs I had a morphine pump but I had a spinal leack from when they put it in for 8 months the 2nd one is a feedind tub in my stomach I had a cut in my small intestins when I had a hysterphmy in 1995. the dr knew he did something but didnt take the time to look I almost died I was on feeding tubs in my chest in my vains for 5 yrs. I had infections every month and stoped breathing I was on a vent. I was put back on the chest tub feeding about 8 months ago but the RSD was burning my vains and turning my chest red and the pain was so bad so they are going to try in my rtomach but Im unable to hold food in thats way it couldnt been done before and it still isnt going to work very well but Im not even 100lb. Im undur weight but because of the first illness and the RSD I cant keep weight on and the 3rd is If I want to try again a stimaltor in my base of my neck and skull but the lower back I had didnt work . I have stage 3 RSD. Im in a wheelchair and still in my first cast from June 2003. I havnt walked in 4 yrs. The pain specialsist I have is the top RSD Dr. in my small area and I found out with in about 3 monhs that I had RSD and it just took off and that was one way they found it along with the systems. The surgeries are going to be hard but at least two of them are very important the dr says. I hope that is what needs to be done especially the feeding tub.......I hope that answered you if not or you need more infor plase let me know. How are you? My pain level is so high that anymore they would need to have me in the hospital staying because even meds and blocks and machines havent helped .What point are you at if you dont mind me asking? If I can help in anyway just ask....... Karen (rsd kitti)
