Default Doing the happy dance!

Well...I'm doing as much of a happy dance as I am able anyway.

I got the phone call today that I am reporting back to work on Monday!!! AND...I'm being paid retroactively back to my release back to work date! I worked so hard for this and I am SO ready to be back to work. I know it won't be easy but after everything I have been through this past year with RSD, work comp, etc I am ready to take on the challenge.

I guess if you stick to your guns that sometimes things can turn out okay.

Thanks so much to everyone on here for your support and help through these rough times. You guys mean so much to me.

I am in tears. I wish I could still do a triple pirouette or cartwheels across the floor for you.

This is all about you, your strength, your willingness to take risks and your refusal to be backed down whether by pain, doctors, workers comp, or simple minded bureaucrats.

A new district even!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! Back pay to boot!

This is just amazing! I just know this is going to be an amazing new chapter in your life!

I have only one suggestion (as if you needed one) That you keep up with the tDCS treatments. I was taking breaks but I found that no breaks meant more progress. That seems to be what the latest research is showing. (Not no breaks-just longer periods of treatment) No one really knows yet what that period is yet.

Still in tears- just can't stop!!!!! So happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Better get those veggies and flowers in this weekend!!!

Many hugs to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will definitely be keeping up with the tDCS treatments...though I may need to settle for only one treatment on days when I have to work the closing shifts. Well...I'll work that all out as I go. If I can come up with a way to do two on those days then I will. That would only be twice a week though so I don't think it should have a negative impact on my progress. I will have to give myself two hours to get ready for work though I think between the tDCS treatments, the baths, ultrasound, TENS, etc. It will be like gearing up for battle everyday...but then that's sort of what it's like now just on my own schedule instead of someone else's. It will definitely be an adjustment but I am up for the challenge.

Oh...and I got my veggies and flowers planted yesterday (except for the 4 that didn't fit in the planter...but those will have to wait until Saturday). It's a good thing too because today it is raining non-stop and it's COLD...down into the 50s. Where are the 97 degree temps we had on Sunday? Glad I got all the planting done yesterday when it was still sunny and nice out. This weekend the weather is back up into the 80s so I'm hoping next week we at least have good weather to help me with my transition.

I'm so EXCITED!!

You have taken control of your life and have refused to let CRPS define you.

For that, I congratulate you and wish you all the best in the future!

(even though this may mean less posts from you on this forum as you will be busier!)

I knew you would get there. I will be telling your story at my support group tomorrow. I hope I am no far behind you. I am shooting for September.

I will be thinking about you tomorrow! No need for me to wish you luck. You don't need luck!
