whats prn. and thanx I will research and mention to my dr,s this itchy, reddening painful, will challenging crap needs to go away.. I fight the urge to scratch.. I'm sire every one knows how painful having an itch you can't scratch is.. and how painful scratching RSD is .. ohhhh. its driving me nuts . thanx for your response

prn is "as needed" I had to take it awhile ago and it worked great. Good luck!

Did you by chance start any new meds around the same time this started happening? Not all meds cause an instant reaction..they build slowly over time. For example.. the first time my son was on amoxicillan he had no reaction. The second time.. a rash on his back. The third time..full blown hives. So if you started a new med even before the symptoms started..it could be related. Just a thought. hope you get feeling better my cankle comrad!

nothing I haven't been on for months already.. even doses are the same.. .. and as far as vitamins ..during my physical 2 mnmths ago I was vitamin D deficient. so I had to take prescription vit D but that ended over a week ago.. but thats just vitamin I get it through food all the time so I can't see it being that. ..

so my neurologist saw it said its RSD. and its itchy because of the swelling stretching the skin...IDK maybe ... he offers nothing to help aside from skin cream. oddly enough though mt pt said try hot water.. I did and it hurt like hell but the itchy is minuscule now.. so odd right

Personal experience is that hot water made my previous itching increase.

no.. no hydrocortisone. he isn't allowed to script me out anything that my pcp can handle under general health.. here is the kick. my pcp cannot prescribe meds for a comp. issue its against the law. so .. its just easier to put th aveeno oatmeal soap in the shower and use a hot rag with the soap. Im sooo to my limit with these hoops comp has laid out.

I had to see my pcp per my pm. for my antidepresent, because of the serotonin syndrome. It causes you to act funny, and is a medical emergency. He wants someone in my home area to be there for me. Of course this causes an issue with wc. because he does not particapte but he wrote detailed notes. but it is still not being covered by wc.

You can buy hydrocortisone, over the counter. If you have insurance go see a dermatoligist.

mine is at bay right now. Just mild itching on my chest and upper stomach.
