I purchased the bracelet from Medic Alert -- they sell necklaces, watches, other jewelry, etc -- and pay an annual membership fee. I was in a car accident several months back and the hospital had all my medical info before I was able to tell them, because of my Medic Alert bracelet! I would look into it!

Thanks for the info Jen! Didn't know they had anything like that. Do you happen to have a link to the one you got?

Phyllis,
Actually, I have several. I have a sports band to wear to the gym and a 14kt gold one for everyday wear. The sports band wasn't too expensive, but the 14kt was not cheap (it is very heavy). They offer MedicAlert ID's that start at around $20 or so (I think) and frequently have sales. They have many different styles and price options. The website is www.medicalert.org. Good luck!
Be well,
Jen
