I used to see Dr. Raja at The Blaustein Pain Treatment Center at Johns Hopkins. Highly, highly recommend him. They are very research based and it doesn't take forever to get an appointment.

I have seen Dr Schwartzman. He recommended the IVIg infusion for me as well. I've had 2 inpatient, 5 day, continuous, central line ketamine infusions and 1 inpatient, 5 day, continuous, central line lidocaine infusion, none of which helped me. Dr Schwartzman has to review some of my test results when he gets back from vacation on Tuesday, and my insurance has to approve the IVIg infusion. Assuming the test results look good to Dr Schwartzman and my insurance conpany approves the procedure, I may be having the infusion this month (September). I am not putting all my eggs in 1 basket or counting my chickens before they hatch. With fingers crossed, we will wait and see what happens. Dr Schwartzman has recommended I go for a ketamine coma as well.
Be well,
Jen

I dont think Hopkins will work since the RSD was caused by a botched surgery from a VERY TOP surgoen there. So they would very much most likely deny it. But what did Dr Raja do for you?
