Hello Ada: I am glad to hear that your surgery is all over and you are on your way to recovering. If you are able to keep your incision clean and dry, you should heal over with no more problems. Being allergic to the tapes make it unhandy, but doable.
As for the runny nose, if you find out how to stop it, please tell me!! I have had a runny nose for over 50 years. Every room in my house has an open box of tissues so I can grab one when I need it. There is a box on the car seat beside me and all of my jackets and coats have several folded tissues in the pockets. I keep hand sanitizer with me too. Allergies cannot be cured, just controlled as well as possible.
The surgery part is behind you. Now just take it easy and get better soon. Regards, Lil

Congratulations Ada!!

I am so happy for you, the surgery is done and the VNS is in!!

I am sorry you had so much trouble with the tapes they use. I do too, and I don't know which adhesive it is that is the culprit, so that I can avoid it in the future!!:Hum:

I have the constant runny nose year round if I don't use Nasarel every day. Have you tried that before? It is a perscription medication that you spray in your nose a.m. and p.m. It's the best treatment I have found for me so far, even better that the annual shot. Hopefully, you can try it and see if it works for you.

I hope that all continues to go well for you as you recover. I hope the time flys and it is turned on and working for you before you know it!!

Hugs!

So I'm not alone with the runny nose.

I hate it. I am always looking for something to wipe my nose on. I have tissues all over the place and when I need them I can't find them. I will ask my Dr. about the Nasarel. Never heard of it.

I am doing good today. I have already been out to my other place to get my shower curtain and a few other small things I left.

It's beautiful here today. In the 60's.

Thanks for all of the great support.
Ada
