Default Ketamine

I am scheduled to have my first ketamine infusions is a few weeks. I am wondering if others could share their side effects they experienced and how long until you felt normal after? I am a little nervous but feel fortunate to be able to receive this procedure relatively easily. My insurance is covering it and I didn't need to appeal. I do have high hopes it will help me.

Thanks
J

Ketamine has been amazing for me, I've been receiving infusions since April 2010 and my RSD is usually in remission. Your best bet is to get your treatments with an experienced practioner - a protocol is important. I started with the 10 day low dose outpatient protocol with Philip Getson in Marlton. After 22 infusions I switched to Pradeep Chopra in Pawtucket, RI.

Check out the Ketamine Klub for CRPS/RSD on FB for lots of good info.

Wishing you all the best!!

Default Hi J

I had ketamine for spinal problems. It did provide releif. I also have developed RSD in my ankles. I would do it again, if this was something my doctor thought would help. I just started developing this from severe injury to ankles that was diagosed incorrectly. Ketamine has worked for alot of folks. I had NO side effects for in infusions, no pain at all, before(shot to numb), during or after. I wish you all the best. ginnie
