Default I believe we can all relate

Lost in the despair of pain
hoping for it all to refrain
refrain from the obstruction it poses to life
the anguish to my kids and my wife

Lost in the haze of loneliness
knowing that something is wrongly amiss
unable to leave this shell
living in my own burning hell

Lost in the maze loss
confusion where the streets may cross
the streets of life and living
and the path of the unforgiving

Lost in a world I no longer know
in the garden I no longer sow
lost in a world of pain
where it almost always rains.
