Cathy,

Check out rsdsa.org they have a listing of dr.'s. some you may have to travel a little to but I am sure in your area you can find one.

I heard of a Dr Durkin at Stoneybrook. Is that Suffolk or Nassau? Live in the City, sorry. I haven't seen Durkin, but have heard of him. Hope that helps.

Its rough out here so far as I can see. my neurologist is in smithtown and around the corner is my orthopedic. my vascular surgeon, my pain management and my shrink ..almost all with in a two block radius.. (almost) I also believe my Pain management is in Shirley as well.. shoot me an instant message if you would like their names..(its a place to start)

Hello rsd friend, it is too late for me to be here but had to say that you have a big , nasty, job ahead of you. I did a 16 yr. w/c because of RSD.
Please, please, don't let them intimidate you. You have time to do whatever it takes to find help. The Ins. co.s have money to burn and more time than you to do it in. If you have not found suitable treatment ask your laywer for an extension. You are aloud to do that. YOU COUNT!!!!!

This whole thing will want to make you turn over and give into whatever they tell you. You are the main player in this story so remember...YOU Count.
Please forgive me, it is too late and have to sleep.
Hope to hear back and talk more. Will keep you in my prayers.
I am sure we have alot to talk about. God bless you.
Peace & LUV, Andrea
