No guidelines for the treatment of RSD/CRPS have ever been published in the UK and I have been willing to go further than any other UK Patient to be cured, agreed to have 5 day ketamine coma, one hospital refused to amputate while I'm awake, a second is now condsidering it There are no standard treatments every one is an experiment

The only time amputation should be considered with RSD is if a life threatening condition such as gangrene has set in as a result of elephantiasis.

This is a good description of the issues involved.

listen kevscar. do only what you are comfortable with because you have to live with the end result. and remember that a lack of a standard treatment plan is not a plan in itself. I would question their decision and challenge their information.. be well

I have applied for a Judicial review of their decision. Should know next week if I;ve got it.
