Default RSD dr in Maryland?

I need a good RSD dr in maryland or an autonomic dr, i really dont care which one, i just need a dr! Hopkins is being no help! I dont want to try ketamine infusions, but i do want to try IVIG. Or try somthing instead of just sitting here and doing nothing. Does anybody know of a good dr or see one on maryland? Thanks!

What is Ivig? Does it work for rsd? I have never heard of this. What exactly is it? Does someone in Md do it? I live in Maryland also and Hopkins failed me as well, said there was nothing else they could do. I have tried just about everything out there. If you don't mind sharing, I'd like the info as well. Thanks.

Hi music girl. Yes my old nuero told me that there was no treatment for RSD and there was nothing they could do about it! Atleast my new nuero is trying to find a dr for me! Here is what IVIG is
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intravenous_immunoglobulin it can help with nueropathic pain and since RSD weakens the immune system and other stuff, IVIG can also help with that (And some drs are wondering if RSD is possibly an autoimmune disorder even though they have never been able to figure out exactly what it is). Dr swartzman in PA does it, but obvisly he has like a 4yr waiting list. So in the meen time we are trying to find a dr that does it. And I would like to try IVIG as its less invasiv then ketamine.
