When I was younger, I used to get migraines. Hereditary from my mother unfortunately. I haven't had one in almost 14 years. Recently they have made a return. I also get random dizzy spells. I was wondering if it is possible that my RSD could be triggering these? I have ruled out just about every other trigger that used to bring on these monster headaches. The worst part is, these headaches last for two days or more at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Ideas on how to combat them would be great as well or maybe certain things to avoid if anyone else has this issue and know what triggers yours. Thanks

I didnt use to have headaches at all, but when my RSD got worse this summer, it triggerd headaches too. The only thing i do is just sleep because im already on meds for pain, so nothing i can about it. Oh and i try to stay cooler, because i noticed when i get super hot is when they can get really bad. and the reason i sleep is because my body temp then gos down.

Cluster Headaches/Migraines is what my Doc tells me. Lucky for me I have had Migraines in the past due to types of lighting. So have kept Excedrin Migraine meds in all vehicles I drive plus around the house but the pills have been pulled off the market and I'm almost out. Cluster Headaches for me feel like a Migraine coming on and last 3-4 days even with meds. the Migraines I gotta take meds cover my head to block out sound and light and hope I can sleep for a few hours till it's gone.

I have dealt with the brain pain monster of migrains my whole life. Sleep is definitely needed with these. but not because your temp drops, in fact your temp rises, but your respiration and circulation slows. Anacin was the first pain med I ever took , then bayer.. found these didnt work at all. but advil on the onset of the migraine..4 to be exact with 16 oz,s of water a cup of coffee a hot shower, and sleep. but as we all know getting in front of a migrain is difficult.
aside from that. I would suffer weeks at a time of migraine, so bad I would want to air out my brains to relieve pain, im sure you can relate. oddly enough I started getting them under control until... dum dum dahhh!!!"the beast" now I try to keep it on the boarder and consider myself lucky. The aura, nusia, bloody noses, pain shooting from back of the head to the eye or the other way. the noise, and light, the stale air. all this plus the unforgiving pain,, just like rsd..huh. go figure
