Help Ice and RSD/CRPS

I think I remember reading several articles that state not to use ICE on an area that has RSD/CRPS. Is this true? I mentioned it to my P/T and he looked at me like I was crazy and said to bring him the articles. I can't find them. Please help.

Thank you!!!!!
