Default Blisters on CRPS foot

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone ever gotten blisters on their affected area ?. I just noticed a big blister forming on top of my bad foot, never had that before. If anyone has any knowledge of this I would appreciate the info.

Thanks very much,

Hi Wibley, about your blister on crps foot- if you go to the photo pictures on this site you will see a variety of feet with swelling, rashes, etc. I have had lesions-extremely painful and took a while to get the infection under control. My Dr. had me going in warm water to bring the infection to the surface-took time to clear up. Let us know if you find the photo site- loretta

Thanks very much,
My RSD is actually my right hand (wrist and part of forearm after carpal tunnel release was performed with the idea of some relief).
They appear at the finger joints, are painful like a burn yet contain very little liquid, I had a stellate ganglion diagnostic (deep shot in the neck, behind voice box, windpipe, etc.).
A little relief for about 3 weeks, I am in a rush for further cortisone cocktail injections, I seem to be the only one.
My blisters, or whatever they actually are have never became infected, if they became too painful poking a small hole in each end seemed to relieve the pressure.
Triple antibiotic ointment until they healed.... wait for more.
Best wishes.

Hi L,

Welcome to the forum. It is a great place for sharing and support. You are not alone in getting relief from steroid, mine has all been local but made a difference. Now if I can just get it all to hold!

If you feel inclined start a new thread to introduce yourself so more members will see you. Or just jump in whenever and we'll see you around.
