Thanks Jill,

That's the spirit! What a great smile you have, lovely pic. Hopefully you'll encourage more people to post their pics.

Come on you lot, never mind if you're an oldie, newbie, lurker, whatever, we don't care about that, LOL...

And I'm still on your case, Mike (hey, if Vic can do it!)...

The more the merrier :)

all the best.

Hey Y'all.

Sorry that I kinda poofed there for a little bit. I had tried putting my stupid picture up here Sunday night/early Monday morning, but my computer freaked out on me..or this site did (probably my computer, as it is a very old and extinct computer, and does some strange things at times), and my entire post got lost in Limbo Land instead of getting put up here when I hit the "submit" button. Then, my stupid computer nicely froze up on me, and I got SOOO aggravated that I just turned the stupid thing off. :Bang-Head:

The next morning, I had every intention of getting back on here bright and early and trying to get the pic up again. But, it didn't work out that way. Jay called me after he left for school, saying that he needed me to come up there. He was very weird sounding....and so I asked him if he was ok. To make a long story short, he wasn't...he had been in a wreck. It wasn't his fault, it was that of this lady driving an SUV and barreling around a corner, and down the road, and smack into his rear end. He was stopped, because the car infront of him was stopped...so when she hit him (he says that he thinks she was doing about 40 mph), it sent him into the car in front. He had had his foot on the break, but she hit him so hard, that it knocked him forward and up a little (and yes..he did have his seat belt on), and his foot slipped. :( I am SOOOOO grateful that he was in his "Big ***** Truck" that I tease him about, because if he had been in a car...well...I don't even want to think of what would have happened to him (the car that stuck him was a big SUV with a Bush Guard on the front, and she hit him into the back of a Ford Explorer :Crowded: ). He is Ok. Just had a bit of a sore neck and a bit of a headache. He is all recovered now..although I am still keeping an eye on him, because I do know that neck and spinal stuff can creep up on you....

Anyway....that pretty much kept me off of the computer that day. Yesterday was just a weird day....lots of weird stuff going on, and lots of things that just seemed to keep me running and VERY busy.

So...here I am today! LOL. I promised IHH that I would put my pic up...and I AM! RIGHT NOW! SO...here it is:

:Hum:
(hmmm. I guess it is down at the bottom of this thing. I really don't have the hang of this attaching things yet at all. ROFL)

That is the best that I can do. I don't have any big pics on the computer that I can put up here (this was cut out of a bigger snap shot. I didn't figure that everyone needed to be shown...so I just cut out my head, and I got rid of the rest of the pic. So, no bigger one...and it wouldn't matter anyway, because this is how big I am in the snap shot anyway! ROFL)...and I don't have a digital camera to take one and get it downloaded to the computer (which I am not entirely certain would work on this dinosaur of a computer I have anyway. LOL). SO, this one will have to do. It is the one that I had on my profile on BT. It is a few years old now (about 5ish? I think?) But I basically look the same. I just really don't like my pic to be taken, and so I avoid anyone that is holding a camera at almost any cost! ROFL. One note though...my hair isn't usually that dark looking. It looks that way in the pic because of the lighting, I guess. Normally my hair is a medium to dark auburn color (so..red...but not REALLY red. LOL). However, right now my hair is VERY dark, due to a Cosmetology Mishap. :ROTFLMAO: Oh! The things that we mom's do for our kids....*sigh. It is fading some now, so I am hopeful that I will be able to get it set back to rights fairly soon. :)

Anyway...lots of talk to say why I am so late getting this up here. I am sorry. I will be back later to expound and exclaim over all of the other pics here. I DO agree with everyone who has said that we have some VERY attractive folks here...

Love and
Jose

Ps :Dunno: I don't know if everyone will see the pic on the Paint screen, like I do when I checked it to see if it was working after getting it up on here. If so, I am sorry, and I can't figure out how to change that. LOL...ah well. At least I tried. LOL

Hey Jose,

Frightening story...the woman who rear-ended us was putting on eye stuff af 47mps. We know about he eye stuff because of the funny wound just above her eye, and the speedo froze at the moment of impact...back in '71, before electronics.

We were in a 1960 Buick Electra 225 convertable (about the weight of two mating elephants). The Dodge Dart hit so hard it drove us into the Vdub stopped in front of us. Both of those cars were totalled. Ours had a 2 inch dent in the trunk. That's it!!! One dent. Not a mark on the front, which killed the Vdub.

Kids were in the back seat; no seat belts. I mean the car didn't come with seat belts in the back. They bounced around a little, but were all ok. The top was down, which could have been a disaster. God watched over me even while I was saying He didn't exist.

Your pic: I haven't tried to offer mental images; guess I don't really think about appearance, just the spirit in the person...but I did spend a moment thinking of my image of you, and I was right on!

That little-bitty pic you sent looks just like the PR redneck I imagined...you are lovely...Vic

Because he is my love rival, I may eventually have to kill Mark; but credit where credit is due: This thread is pure genius.

Mark, Thomas Jefferson wanted "Founder of the University of Virginia", not "President of the United States" on his headstone. Should you pass unexpectedly in the next few days, I will make sure yours says:

Creator of the thread This is really off topic but fun I hope.

There won't be room, or money, to engrave your name, date of birth or date of death, but the important stuff will be there...Vic

Joselita 05-02-2007 11:04 AM

added info...and thanks!

LOL..thank you for the compliments! (Although I am NOT a Redneck, Vic! Not at all....I am transplanted here from the West...LOL)

One thing, real quick, because I forgot it the first time around (and I can't stay here long because my Mom is due to call at any moment...and I will be tied up for HOURS talking with her...LOL)

I am tall, not tiny or short. I am about 5'8". I have HUGE feet...size 110 - 12, WIDE in womens's - size 10 - 10/12 in men's. It is because of my SUPER wide, and FLAT (yes...I am just about as Flat Footed as the come..and I passed that trait on down to my son, who wears a size 13 WIDE and has feet even flatter than mine, which I honestly didn't think was possible! ROFL) that I wear such bit men's shoes, I think. I have always HATED going shoe shopping, and everything about shoes in general..and that has just gotten worse with the whole RSD in the Foot thingy. Now, someone PLEASE explain to me how I got a daughter that is such a "girlie-girl" (I was, am and always have been a Tom Boy! LOL), and a complete and total Shoe Horse to boot??!!??

I have long legs and arms, and have a hard time finding pants and long sleeves shirts that fit those appendages. Lots of the time, I go around looking all gangely, with my ankles and wrists (and even some of my forearm!) sticking out from under the cuffs and hems and what not. Gave up trying to find a True Long Skirt or Dress ages ago, as everything that is supposed to be "Long" hits me just under mid calf. To get things to fit length wise for both pants and shirts, I have to get a bigger size...and that just doesn't work at all.

So...that is it. You have enough to get a good mental pic of me now. It is Ok..you can go ahead giggle....that is Ok. ;)

Jose

I have really enjoyed reading this thread. You know, I don't think I ever just sat & imagined what anyone looked like on here. MY BAD!!! *LOL* But I have enjoyed seeing pics of people tho. I have only imagined the type of 'person' any of you are. Who you are, values & all the important things such as that.

Liz,
*LOL* Angie Dickenson eh???? I enjoyed reading that. And I have to say thank you. And especially THANK YOU for saying that I am pretty. And that I look like Demi Moore to you. I don't tho. I am much much taller I believe than she is. I am 5'6", and I use to be a size 7/9 back in 2000/01 I am now much larger than that but not gonna give out what size I am now. *LOL* I have the short dark hair like she did in a couple of her movies & the big brown eyes, altho to me they just are not as big as they use to look. I can't wear eye make-up anymore to enhance them & they were/are my best feature. I end up wiping eye make-up off because of having dry eyes due to Sjogren's. They water like sieves. But they are a 'drying tear', they don't lubricate. And not even my hubby says I am pretty, he says very attractive which isn't the same at all
BUT you have made my day GF, you truly truly have.

Love ya,
DebbyV
