Default BE thankful for good doctors!

Wow, my pain management is soo much better now! Before going to a low-income clinic if I called and left a message for my doctor regarding my pain or anything else it would take a minimum of 3 days before I would hear back. I've been having a pretty bad flare up the last week, I tried to deal with it, but it got to be too much to handle. I called my doctor yesterday about 12pm. I heard back by 3pm and they scheduled an appt first thing this morning. Before I would be scrutinized for asking for stronger medicine, like I was just a low life drug seeker. They would eventually give me something but at such a low dose and so few of them that it wouldn't make a difference. I went in today and talked with my new doctor I explained I don't wasn't a permanent prescription but needed something stronger until this flare-up calmed down. I told him what I'd taken in the past and he wrote it our, a stronger dose and a 2week supply without batting an eye! I feel better now. Not ideal but at least its knocking a large portion of pain down!! I am soo thankful for this new approach! It's truly wonderful to have a doctor who will LISTEN and BELIEVE you!
