Well, I was dx today with nerve degeneration and severe inflammation of my eyes, the very likely culprit RSD. I can no longer wear contacts. My prescription at the best got to 20/40. I got steroid drops, 3 other kinds and now check ups every 3 months to make sure there isn't further degeneration. The pain is awful. I never realized RSD could affect eyes so severely. Anyway, so y'all were right. Thanks for the heads up everyone! Y'all got me to the eye dr.

So sorry to hear this tkayewade. Perhaps the meds will help reduce inflammation and pain levels. I have not had my eyes checked in a few years, but I do know that my vision is deteriorating rapidly. Nothing painful though, or at least not yet. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are experiencing RSD in the eyes. It sounds so painful. I'll say a prayer for you. ![]()
