Hi guys,

Thanks for all the responses, all the ideas are helpful

Last night I took a Lyrica, and I did get to sleep quicker I think, and slept ok. I'm shattered this morning tho, I forgot how much it zonks me... I'm going to start on a pretty low dose and see how it goes, I don't want to take any more than I've got to!

I really apppreciate your concern, honestly, but please don't get hung up on the suicide thing. I feel really stupid for even saying it! I'm not about to do anything daft, I was just having a bad day and read a wiki page. Quite off-putting anyway, yikes If I started regularly obsessing about it then I would seek some help, but I'm nowhere near that stage. I talked to my friend about it all yesterday and she was great about it, very matter-of-fact, and I know she'll keep an eye on me if I get really down at any point in the future.

Dj, your cream sounds intense, I didn't even know they could put Gabapentin in a cream! I often wonder about the NHS tactics with this condition, they seem to have a very limited range of treatment options in terms of meds. I'm going to ask her about a couple that have been mentioned by a few on this site, and see what she says. I'm sure she'll love that

I've been on my feet (on and off) for about the last half hour, and my left foot is definitely complaining, so I'm resting and elevating for a bit. I've done my physio for this morning, and made a cuppa Gotta get your priorities right.

Thanks again, every post means so much

Bram.
