I agree about the stool softners but make sure to ask your doctor in case it is not ok for you and if it is ok dont forget it takes time to work. I also agree with ground flax but also healthy oils like olive oil because it helps lubricate. Have you tried prunes in any form but when I had this a suggestion was to try the baby food which is weird but I guess easier to tolerate unless you like prunes. Also don't forget enough water or fluids in general. Feel better
