Mine started in my right great toe after falling down a flight of stairs. I initially was diagnosed with turf toe and bone spurs. My RSD started after I opted to have the bone spurs removed. It as since spread to my left foot and other areas of the body. There are days when my husband can't touch the entire right side of my body from toe to shoulder. I am now disabled due to the amount of pain I am constantly in. Sorry no lefty mine started on the right.

Hi all, I haven't been on in quite a while.
I also started with left foot/lower limb RSD after a PT manipulation on my pelvis. Two visits to this person changed my life. Doc sent me to PT for a tight muscle in my thigh-PT disagreed & treated me for a rotated pelvis and 'displaced' tail bone. I couldn't walk after 2nd visit, subsequent CT scan showed my tail bone was not displaced at all. Spread to right foot, now up to right arm, BP irregular and blurred vision. End of story? Or just the beginning. I just pray for us all and try to hold on to my faith. I don't think I realized how much I need a support group-trying on my own hasn't worked out so well... |
