Default RSD 10 yrs, now possible MS. Anyone else? PLEASE REPLY!

My RSD started in my left Achilles just over 10 years ago and spread to my entire left leg & foot and then to my right leg & foot. But within the last year, my RSD spread like wildfire. It has gone into both my kidneys, then my hips, then my back to my intestines, my ribcage and now my eyes. My Pain Man. Dr said that the RSD is NOT supposed to affect my vision AT ALL but I have had some significant visual changes since it went into my eyes in December and now I am having occasional dbl vision and my peripheral vision is like a 3D movie without the glasses! Since December, I have had to change my prescription on my glasses not only for my nearsightedness but I have become farsighted and it has changed twice. My Pain Man. Dr is concerned that these symptoms do not ALL add up to RSD! He has me going to see a Neurologist to "rule out" MS.

I am not necessarily concerned either way. I have an UNBELIEVABLE amount of FAITH in God! And I feel that what ever happens, I know he will carry me through!

I have just seen, what seems like to me, quite a few patients of RSD, that have also been diagnosed with MS. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has both, RSD & MS and knows if there is a connection? I also have Ehlers Danlos, which I know is a connection to both.

Any info is appreciated!

God bless you all and gentle hugs!!!

I sure wish I could help. I've had RSD for more than 30 years along w/ TOS and discs, then 2.5 years ago came diabetes. Now my eyesight is bad. (normal for DB), but knowing what it is doesn't necessarily help, we still simply 'patch it.....

Keep on with following the doctors is the only thing I can say. I've lost several out of frustration, now I have a Doc that seems dedicated.

I'll keep you in my prayers, your faith is good!
