Default RSD in face - Eyes

Hi Everyone.

I'm somewhat new to this RSD thing. Does anyone have problems with their eyes? I have a problem looking at the computer screen without pain in my eyes. I also have areas on my face that are on fire - which comes and goes.

Does anyone else experience this?

Default Yes!!

This has just started happening with me. Especially when I cry, it seems like my whole face and eyes are burning. WOW, I was actually going to ask about this. Thanks

Yep.

one more stupid RSD symptom (but as ever -get it checked out to make sure it is). My opthamologist reckons the RSD has affected my sight (though they also think I have degeneration of the optic nerves which is apparently in MS). I get double vision, triple vision, blurry vision, lose it and pass out if I piacked upright too quickly, my eyes burn and crying feels like sulphuric acid being dropped onto my eye balls. Sunglasses help!! Lots of people take artificial tears here.

Default Thanks everyone

Thanks to everyone for responding.

The problem that I have is that I'm a secretary - so I look at the computer all day - not to mention type and write. It's affecting my work - which is horribly scary to me.

It's nice to hear that there are others out there that are dealing with this as I am.

Hey

Have you got a flat screen monitor? (LCD or something?) These are supposed to help - i can deal with my laptop but I can't use the old fashioned computers with the large screens - I think that's why i don't watch TV.

Do things like sunglasses help?

Please keep us updated on anything that helps!!

Love
