Default Can my RSD spread that fast???

Hi everyone,

I am back. I am sorry that I have been MIA for awhile. I starting to go into remission I think. But, a couple weeks ago, my RSD went from both my legs and mid thigh to entire legs and both arms within a couple days. Guys, I was so scared that I went into depression bad. I couldn't eat, shower, or think. Can this happen? Has it happened to anyone else?

My fiance and best friend thought that I was making this happen by reading all of these forums. I told them they were crazy and that they just don't understand what I am going through. I felt so alone, because no one seemed to believe me.

This last week, my symptoms have been better. I couldn't even shower because of the pain and the pregnancy must be working for me right now.

I am so scared, because I know that it's going to return. It sucks because GOD takes the major pain away for a time being and then gives it back to you.

I have been avoiding everyone. I have had major morning sickness for the last week and have been in bed resting.

So, I am still here...

Love you all

Heya

I will keep my fingers crossed that you go back remission way - it could be that the "flare" is stress/ weather related or if you had pretty bad morning sickness or everything all at once!!! I'm glad it's calmed down though.

Hope things go better for the rest of the pregnancy - are you craving anything at the moment?

Love and Hugs

Default going crazy

Hi Hun,

Know what you are going through with the depression. It is such a hard battle to feel alone. I have a great support system at home, but they often forget that I hurt and touch\grab. My DD is the best at gauging my moods and pain. DH is getting better, but I just get done telling him I am in alot of pain, then I ask for help off the floor because I was digging in a cabinet and the flexing in the wrists is gentler if I am on the floor.

He tries to assist and grabs both my wrists and pulls. It happened so fast...

Then when I wince and groan, he pulls away and I almost fall on the floor. Then he feels like it was all his responsibility, that I was hurt. I try to explain that he cannot remember all the time because my skin looks so normal now. If it was a heaping pile of red and urple he would know. I also do not wear the brace around the house, cause I want to keep it moving.

Depression sucks, and all I can say, is try to do things for yourself. Get lotsa rest, eat what you want (you are eating for two anyway) Read a book, sit in the sun for a few minutes every day. (just a few minutes) helps with your happy vitamins\hormones (cannot remember - brain fog). Do things that make you happy, and you will feel better.

Email me if you need to chat!

Huggys Rain

PS sorry if this was a little off topic, reading it through guess I needed to vent too.

I have had points that I want Fast Food, but I have been so nauseated lately, that nothing sounds good but apple juice and saltine crackers. LOL

I flared up everywhere. Does this mean that it still hasn't spread. Just because it happened so fast. My hand swelled up and so did my other elbow.

Geez, I hate this thing Frogga. How are you feeling? Doing alright?

Lots of love to you all!

That's the crazy thing. My skin looks normal now too. It doesn't feel normal, and doctors have nothing to go by, but your word. Thats scary. I had a fullbody flare-up and you couldn't see anything. My fiance said that I turned bright red everywhere, but I didn't notice a difference. WOW!!

Thanks for the 411. Hugs!!
