Default Pillow while driving

So I haven't read all or the thread about lifesavers, but I caught the one about using a pillow in the car. So yesterday I had a nine hour drive. I took my shoe off and put my foot on this little toddler sized travel pillow that had been my daughters at daycare years ago. It worked! It was the first time I have been in the car for more than an hour or two and not been near tears since the RSD started. Before my RSD was diagnosed and I saw that thread, I couldn't figure out why sitting in the car made my foot hurt because it never dawned on me about the vibrations. I had to put my shoe on at each rest stop, and driving with only one shoe made my daughter roll her eyes a little, but who cares! My husband was afraid that the pillow would get under the break or accelerator, but it is small and I was careful to keep it under my foot. Just wanted to pass on my happy news and thank whoever posted about the pillow because now I am not dreading the drive home!
