Default Beet Pills

Has anyone heard of these pills? I've recently read of 3 people who claim to have RSD and have benefited from beet pills. I'm not sure if they are BSing to sell something or are serious (more like the former). One person always referred to the other person they knew with RSD benefitted etc.--an example:

"100% Natural Beet Pills have changed my sister-in-laws life. She is completely symptom free. Message me to find out more and we can chat or if you wish I can get you in contact with her to let her tell you herself how these pills have given her her life back. What have you got to lose? Look forward to hearing from many of you"

I've read these posts on Facebook primarily.

I read some similar posts on FB and this person said you can only get them from her through her website. This made me think it was bs. Curious if anyone has really benefited from them -??

I saw that post on FB as well and wondered the same thing as I have never read anything about it.

We must all have the same FB pages liked

Always smacks of ** to me, sad though.... As soon as they use phrases like 'giving you your life back' or 'it was like a miracle' etc I just switch off. Especially if they turn out to be selling the stuff....

I'm sure if a really amazing new wonder product came along, we would hear about it without all that 'wow, no REALLY wow' stuff.

Just my view

Bram.

And, if they are such a life saver, why isn't the sister in law talking them up and why do our doctors not know about this new miracle. By the way, you can get beet pills at places like Whole Foods, so that is total crap, that this woman is the only one with access. I've tried a number of alternative medical treatments and the things I haven't tried, I know someone who has. Everyone that hears about RD for the risk time, thinks they have some revelation to share that will cure me ad save my life. GUESS WHAT? If there was a miracle cure, we would be the first people to hear about it. Our doctors would know! It wouldn't be someone telling someone else's story and selling something anyone can get at the grocery store, saying they have special access. It totally sounds like a **sales pitch to me.

Likely it's a load of BS. FYI -- I have a veggie garden and eat a lot of beets this time of year, sometimes a big pile of them every day for a few weeks, and I've never noticed a change in my symptoms. If I'm not noticing any change in neuropathic pain from actual beets, it's unlikely that beet pills would have an effect.
