O.K. so has anyone had "Lidocaine Injections"?? Dr. says it is done outpatient at hospital with IV.
![]() How about Supraclavicular nerve block? I had this done to numb my entire arm Pre surgery (cause for CRPS) to repair broken wrist. Don't know why they did it though because I was given general anesthesia as well. She (Dr.) says I would go to P.T. immediately so they could move my arm & hand alot without any feeling. I'm afraid the pain would be unbearable when the block wore off. She scheduled me for this but now I'm very afraid it will set me back. Initially my hand, wrist and fingers would not move at all. Now after 8 mo. of meds., 13 nerve blocks, SCS trial and 60 physical therapy visits I have partial movement, but I still cannot make a complete fist to grab things, my fingers won't straighten and wrist won't rotate. I asked her about considering some other therapies: Ketamine "no" Botox "not really". Very low dose Naltrexone "never heard of that". So here I am with more dilemnas. I can feel an emotional roller coaster coming on. ![]() |
